Another big mixed martial arts event is now in the books. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted UFC 212 on Saturday night in Brazil. In the main event for the night, interim UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway faced off against Jose Aldo in an attempt to unify his title.
After two rounds of intense striking, Max Holloway managed to put his opponent away and unify his featherweight belt with a third round TKO victory.
With the intense main event for UFC 212 now in the books, fighters and fans have gone to social media to begin voicing their opinions on the competition and the new UFC featherweight champion.
