Rumors of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar wanting to return to the UFC appear to be true.
According to Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar appears to be back in the U.S Anti-Doping Agency’s testing pool, which could mean he plans to fight in the near future.
Rumors have been spreading of Lesnar having a meeting earlier this month at the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas.
This month, Lesnar’s one-year suspension from the sport expires. Lesnar was suspended after he tested positive for banned substances for his fight against heavyweight contender Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in July 2016.
If Lesnar were to return to the UFC, it appears he may fight at the UFC’s next event at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City. The UFC is planning on holding a pay-per-view event at the legendary venue on Nov. 4.
