UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has his first official sponsor leading up to his professional boxing debut.
McGregor is now sponsored by Everlast, which is one of the premiere brands associated with the sport of boxing.
Since McGregor’s next fight is not in the UFC, he is free to wear any sponsors he chooses leading up to his next fight.
The clothing brand Reebok has an exclusive apparel deal with the UFC, which means UFC fighters are forced to wear Reebok clothing and cannot wear any other sponsors names in the UFC cage.
McGregor will make his professional boxing debut on Aug. 26. Despite having little experience, McGregor will be stepping into the ring with one of the greatest boxers of all time Floyd “Money” Mayweather.
McGregor will fight Mayweather in a 12-round boxing match. The two elite fighters will compete at 154 pounds.
Mayweather vs. McGregor will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
