Jimi Manuwa Breaks His Silence Following Saturday’s KO Loss, And Losing His #1 Slot

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted another exciting night of fights over the weekend. UFC 214 took place on Saturday night, July 29, inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. In the night’s main event, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier suffered a knockout defeat to returning rival Jon “Bones” Jones. However, Cormier was not the only fighter to suffer an unexpected knockout finish.

UFC light heavyweight contender Jimi Manuwa squared off with fellow dangerous striker Volkan Oezdemir during the night’s event. However, Manuwa suffered a swift defeat by his opponent. Volkan Oezdemir earned a knockout victory within the first round. Now, Jimi Manuwa has provided a statement on his recent loss.
