The UFC has a new contender in the featherweight division.
On Saturday, UFC featherweight Darren Elkins earned what may be the biggest win of his MMA career.
In the co-main event of Saturday’s UFC on FOX, Elkins fought fellow featherweight contender Dennis Bermudez.
Elkins made the fight just the way he likes it. The two elite 145 pounders fought in a grueling and ugly fight for three rounds that saw Elkins walk away with a split decision victory.
Since joining Team Alpha Male, Elkins has begun to show his true potential in the UFC.
Elkins is now on a five-fight win streak in the UFC. With his win over Bermudez, there is a good possibility Elkins may break into the top 10 of the official UFC featherweight rankings.
