If you want to do an interview with former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, you must agree to not talk about fighting.
According to Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, interviewers must agree to not talk about Rousey’s fighting career during interviews.
On Wednesday, Rousey did her first television interview since her last UFC loss. Rousey appeared on “Live with Kelly & Ryan” and to many people’s disappointed the former UFC champion did not talk about her fighting career. The only time Rousey referenced the UFC was when she talked about being engaged to UFC heavyweight Travis Browne.
Following her last UFC fight, Rousey has shown no interest in returning to the sport. With her refusing to even talk about the UFC in interviews, it appears her MMA career may actually be over.
In her last fight, Rousey lost to UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes by TKO at UFC 207 in December.
