Conor McGregor’s massive fight with undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather is only three weeks away, but his preparations for his boxing debut just hit quite the speed bump.
Following the world-wide #MayMac press tour, Team McGregor made the decision to bring in Pauli Malignaggi to help Conor out with some sparring during his training camp.
However, with the recent leaked photos suggesting McGregor is getting the upper hand in their sparring sessions, Malignaggi has had enough and has decided to no longer be involved in the training camp.
Little details are available as to what team McGregor’s next move is. Paulie represented their highest level sparring partner, and is widely respected in the boxing community. He will not be easily replaced.
The news of this exit hit social media last night in a massive wave. Stay tuned as we continue to unravel this latest incident in the McGregor camp.
