Two of the best fighters in the UFC are not fans of Snoop Dogg doing UFC commentary.
On Saturday, UFC lightweight contender Al Iaquinta sent out a tweet talking about his disdain towards Snoop Dogg’s UFC commentary.
Snoop Dogg, along with UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber, does commentary for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on UFC Fight Pass.
“Really wish they’d replace (Snoop Dogg) on contender series,” Iaquinta said. “Guy has no respect or knowledge of the sport or fighters. Constant mockery.”
UFC welterweight veteran Matt Brown responded to Iaquinta’s tweet and said he agreed with the lightweight fighter.
Snoop Dogg’s commentary is part of UFC’s SnoopCast, which is an alternate commentary option for UFC Fight Pass subscribers. The UFC also gives fans the option of a more traditional commentary team that features UFC lightweight Paul Felder.
