The UFC has released one of its women bantamweight fighters after just one fight inside the Octagon.
Cindy Dandois was released by the UFC following her loss in her UFC debut. In April, Dandois lost a decision to former title challenger Alexis Davis.
Prior to her UFC debut, Dandois was on a three-fight win streak that included wins over Jessamyn Duke and Invicta Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson.
After being let go by the UFC, Dandois sent out a lengthy message on her Instagram page talking about her journey. She also discussed her dream of fighting UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.
“Today I realise I Will never Get that chance. the UFC doesn’t seem To be interested in ever giving me that fight. It pains my heart But I guess I Will have To let that dream go,” Dandois wrote on her Instagram.
