The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosts some of the world’s greatest athletes on their roster. The UFC’s mixed martial artists often have two skills in spades, fighting and trash-talking. Now a video of two of the promotion’s veterans, Michael Bisping and Urijah Faber, going through some verbal sparring has made its way onto the internet.
In the video below, UFC middleweight champion Michael “The Count” Bisping and UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber can be seen sharing some hilarious banter while backstage.
“It’s all in good fun. I actually spent some time with him in Afghanistan, and the true thing about Bisping – he loves to joke around, but he cannot take a joke. I was giving him some crap about that. I remember one of the military ladies came up and said something was about a foot long, and I said (holding up his fingers about an inch apart) ‘Well, Bisping said this is about six inches,’ and he frigging lost it. His face got all red, he was spitting around for a comeback.” said Faber during a recent MMA interview.
While Urijah Faber has decided to retire from the promotion, Michael “The Count” Bisping is now set to defend his title at UFC 217. UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping will face off against former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre in the main event of UFC 217. The fight is set to go down Nov. 4 in the Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.
