UFC megastar Conor McGregor and boxing phenom Paul Malignaggi have not been on the best of terms. Malignaggi initially pulled himself out of retirement to train with McGregor as a sparring partner while “Notorious” prepared for his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. After a series of sparring photos were leaked, Paul Malignaggi and McGregor’s camp started to have words through social media, and then parted ways with the UFC lightweight champion.
Ever since then, Malignaggi and McGregor have been exchanging in heated trash-talk. Now, their trash-talk has reached a pinnacle. Conor McGregor wants to see Paul Malignaggi join him in a “real fight.”
Having recently met face-to-face in Las Vegas, Nev., Malignaggi and McGregor entered a heated confrontation. Malignaggi could be heard repeatedly asking McGregor is he “would bring his balls.”
Speaking in a recent Q&A, Conor McGregor decided to use Paul Malignaggi’s own words against him and see if he’s willing to step into the octagon.
Here is what Conor McGregor had to say:
“Paulie, on the other hand, he’s talking a little sh*t. I know he’s looking for a fight. He’s talking about balls, ‘Bring your balls, do this and do that.’ Bring your own balls to a fu**ing real fight.”
