D.C.’s Next Opponent Has Stolen Luke Rockhold From The Champ

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold recently decided to train at a different camp for his past octagon performance. The former champion is known for training under the esteemed American Kickboxing Academy, along with the likes of UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier.

However, Rockhold trained down in Florida for his recent match up against David Branch. The former champion would go on to earn a TKO victory over his opponent, putting Rockhold back in the winning column after a rough title ending knockout loss to Michael Bisping.

During his time away from AKA, Rockhold spent more than a few sessions training with the likes of light heavyweight contender Volkan Oezdemir. Oezdemir is, of course, Daniel Cormier’s targeted opponent for his next title defense.

Now Oezdemir has come forward with a message for Cormier concerning the former middleweight champion, as Rockhold is still training with the light heavyweight contender. He stated over Instagram:

“@lukerockhold we always knew he wasn’t very smart, but this seems to be working better than I could have ever imagined. They really have no clue, keep sending me the intel. Last nights report was amazing. Thanks Brother #weareaka #mybrother #day1 #insideman”
