Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson made UFC history at UFC 216. Taking on tough division contender Ray Borg, Johnson was tied with Anderson Silva for the coveted UFC record of most consecutive title defenses.
“Mighty Mouse” put on a dominant performance over Borg. Not letting Borg dish out many significant strikes, grappling Borg to the ground and ultimately earning a dazzling aerial armbar submission, Demetrious Johnson broke the coveted UFC record.
That being said, “Mighty Mouse” does not appear to be slowing down. Johnson is now looking towards the future of his fighting career and what he can do to take things to the next level. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Johnson broke down what it would be like if he went straight to the heavyweight division for a super-fight against former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar.
In the interview, Johnson claims that he could likely take the heavyweight down if he focused on striking the former champion in his liver. For the full interview, check out the video below.
