Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has become a dominant force in the mixed martial arts promotion. Not having faced a loss since 2014, Woodley has won five of his last six fights. Of course, Woodley admits that one loss in particular lead him to the fighter he is now.
Taking to Instagram, Woodley offered a highlight clip from his 2012 Strikeforce match up against mixed martial arts veteran Nate Marquardt. Woodley suffered a devastating TKO loss to the fighter, making for a highlight worthy finish in Marquardt’s career. Still, Woodley learned from the experience and went on to form an impressive record of 18-3, with wins over some of the best in the sport.
