Sao Paulo, Brazil hosted an exciting night of fights on Saturday. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flocked to Brazil for UFC Fight Night 119. In the night’s main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida made his big octagon return.
“The Dragon” has been away from the UFC for two years, following a lengthy 18 month suspension for a failed drug test. Making his big return, Machida faced off against Derek Brunson for Saturday night’s headliner. Of course, things did not go Machida’s way.
Brunson put on a swift and dominant performance over his opponent, earning a knockout victory in the first round. The knockout has put “The Dragon” on a three fight losing streak, as Brunson earned his second consecutive first round knockout victory inside the octagon.
Now fighters have begun taking to Twitter to offer their thoughts on Brunson’s spectacular finish. To see what many of the UFC’s top competitors had to say about the night’s main event, check out the Twitter posts below.

Great finish by Brunson! Still has that chin up when blitzing. But I guess when ur arms are that long and u hit that hard, u get away w/it
