Another stunning night of fights is now in the books as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted the highly anticipated UFC 216 on Sunday night. Taking place inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., the pay-per-view event featured two exciting title fights. Demetrious Johnson made his record breaking 11th consecutive title defense against Ray Borg in the co-main event. In the night’s headliner, Tony Ferguson snagged a submission victory over Kevin Lee for the interim lightweight belt. Now new footage from the main event has surfaced and it shows an angry Tony Ferguson ready to beat down his opponent.
Kevin Lee put on a great performance in the first round against “El Cucuy.” But, the fighter was unable to keep up the pace for the rest of the title fight war. By the third round, Tony Ferguson was able to choke out his opponent and gain the interim belt. Now new footage from the fight has surfaced to the internet, showing “El Cucuy” talking a little trash between rounds two and three.
As heard in the video below, Ferguson screams from his corner “Let’s go Kevin, you f**kin pu**y.” Ferguson would go on to explain in his post-fight interview that riling up Kevin Lee was all part of the plan for the interim title victory.
