Back in 2011, mixed martial arts veteran Nick Diaz faced off against Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos. The two fighters went toe-to-toe at the “Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg” on January 29, inside the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
Evangelista Santos was married to former Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (Cris Cyborg) at the time of the fight. The two divorced a year later.
In the bout, Nick Diaz provided Evangelista Santos with a dominant performance. In the second round, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt earned an armbar submission over his opponent. The submission earned Diaz the victory. However, things did not end there.
Shortly after defeating the man, Nick Diaz quickly rushed towards Cristiane Justino to give her a piece of his mind. The fighter can be seen cursing at the former Invicta FC champion in the video above.
Nick Diaz is now spending his time competing in triathlon events and gearing up for his UFC return, having come off a no contest bout against Anderson Silva in 2015. The fighter was recently awarded first place for best product at the 2017 HIGH TIMES Nor-Cal Cannabis Cup.
