The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to make its debut in Shanghai, China, as the mixed martial arts promotion prepares for UFC Fight Night 122. The event goes down Saturday night, Nov. 25, inside the Mercedes-Benz Arena and is set to feature a series of exciting performances.
The night’s main event will feature a match up between former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and Kelvin Gastelum. Gastelum was initially set to face off against former champion Anderson Silva. However, Silva has since been pulled from the fight after being flagged by USADA for a failed drug test.
Coming off of a title ending loss to Georges St-Pierre, “The Count” stepped up on short notice to accept the fight against Gastelum in Shanghai.
In another exciting fight set for the event, bantamweights Alex Caceres and Guan Wang will go toe-to-toe for division supremacy.
Caceres hit the scales at today’s weigh-ins with an entertaining effect, as “Bruce Leeroy” approached the scales as a drunken kung fu master for the audience. Check out the interesting weigh-in within the video above.
