Fight fans made a strip to Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday night, Nov. 11, for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest big event. The mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC Fight Night 120 in a night filled weight exciting match ups.
The night’s main event featured former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, as the fighter faced off against tough contender Dustin Poirier. The two mixed martial arts warriors went toe-to-toe in a bloody war, with each fighter taking some serious damage from their opponent’s strikes.
Still, in the end, Poirier earned a TKO finish over his opponent after eluding a series of tough submission attempts and brutal striking from the former champion.
Poirier can be seen tapping Pettis on his butt directly after hearing the bell for the end of the round. Check out the fighter’s mental warfare between rounds in the video above.
