Rumors have been circulating that UFC superstar Nate Diaz will be making an octagon return to face off against UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley. However, it was recently reported that Diaz has since turned down the fight offer.
While the fight does not appear to be happening, Tyron Woodley has been pressing for the match up still. The champion recently took a moment during his UFC on FOX duties to mention the possible fight.
Responding to the situation, UFC welterweight Colby Covington took to Twitter. Here is what the fighter had to say:
“We all know @NateDiaz209 got better sh*t to do then fight you #Tyquil What’s your excuse gonna be when @ufc sends you a contract with MY name on it for #ufc219 #TwoFaceTyrone @TWooodley”
