Fight fans have been patiently waiting to see what will come next for UFC superstar Conor McGregor. The UFC lightweight champion made his professional boxing debut back in August, taking on undefeated pugilist legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the payday of his career.
“Notorious” suffered a TKO loss to his opponent, but still walked away with an alleged $100 million from his boxing debut. Now fight fans are ready to see McGregor make his big return to the octagon.
One potential super-fight on many fans minds is a trilogy rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz. Diaz choked out the fighter in their first match up, but McGregor earned a close decision victory in their rematch. Now 1-1 in their rivalry, many fans are ready to see the two UFC megastars throw down for mixed martial arts supremacy.
That being said, Conor McGregor has come out to reveal that he has his sights set on UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. Still, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping believes that Conor McGregor is looking for a match up with Nate Diaz.
Bipsing recently explained his opinion on the matter on his podcast, as can be heard below.
