It would appear that Cub Swanson may be looking to get involved with UFC 218’s recently vacant main event spot.
UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway unified his title with a stunning TKO victory over Jose Aldo. Now the fighter is set to make his first title defense at UFC 218 on Dec. 2 inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. That being said, it is no longer clear which contender Holloway will be facing inside the octagon come fight night.
Former UFC champion Frankie Edgar was initially set to face off against Max Holloway for the night’s big event, however it was recently reported that Edgar has been pulled from the event due to an injury.
Now fighters and fight fans are beginning to submit their reactions to the news over social media. Among them, UFC featherweight Cub Swanson recently submitted a cryptic response to the news over Twitter.
