Judge Issues Warrant For Boxing’s Adrien Broner After He Skips Out On Assault Case

Former four-weight boxing world champion Adrien Broner was involved in a physical altercation in Las Vegas, Nev. earlier this year. The boxing phenom was caught on camera knocking a man out with a punch and pushing a woman before leaving the scene. Now it would appear that things have not gotten better for the boxer.

As reported by TMZ Sports, a judge has issued a warrant for the arrest of Adrien Broner. The boxer was supposed to appear at a hearing in Las Vegas for battery charges. However the fighter never appeared at the hearing, resulting in the administered warrant.

Broner’s hearing was scheduled for Monday, Nov. 28. The boxer has since informed TMZ Sports that he was unaware that there was a hearing and that he would have appeared to the hearing if he knew about it. The summons that was meant for Broner was returned to the court for being “not deliverable as addressed,” potentially leading to the confusion.
