Max Holloway Reacts To Frankie Edgar’s Sudden Cancellation Of Their Upcoming Title Fight

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to travel to Detroit, Michigan on Dec. 2 for UFC 218. There inside the Little Caesara Arena, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway was locked in to make his first title defense against former UFC champion Frankie Edgar. However, it has recently been reported that Frankie Edgar has been removed from the night’s main event title fight match up due to an injury.

Max Holloway unified his interim title with a stunning TKO victory over Jose Aldo at UFC 212. The impressive display put Holloway on an 11 fight winning streak. That being said, it would appear that the fighter may have to wait a little longer if he wants to get his winning streak to 12.

Holloway has gone to Instagram to share his reaction to the news, as the fighter is now telling the featherweight division “Time to step up.”
