Things have not been going Michael Bisping’s way as of late. Now it would appear that the former champion has entered another verbal altercation with the UFC’s Jorge Masvidal.
Bisping suffered the end of this UFC middleweight title when he was choked out by Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217. Trying to get back into the winning column, “The Count” accepted a short notice main event match up against Kelvin Gastelum at Saturday’s, Nov. 25, UFC Fight Night 122. Bisping suffered a first round knockout loss to Gastelum in Shanghai, China.
Now it has been claimed by mixed martial arts manager Ibrahim Kawa of First Round Management that Jorge Masvidal and Michael Bisping had an altercation in the hotel lobby earlier today. Details on the altercation have yet to be revealed.
This would not make for Bisping’s first run in with Masvidal. As seen in the video above, the two fighters have had heated exchanges before.
Masvidal was not pleased when Bisping ripped up a tiny Cuban flag during Yoel Romero’s interim title fight against Robert Whittaker. As a result, the two fighters now have some bad blood that has yet to be fixed.
