It would appear that newly crowned UFC middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre is not the only person tossing out choke holds this weekend.
In the world of football, the Cincinnati Bengals faced off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. But, there was an incident on the field near the end of the first half of the game. Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey were each ejected from the game after entering an all out fight on the field.
Ramsey pushed the wide receiver, but Green quickly retaliated by approaching the back of the player and going for a choke. Green managed to get Ramsey to the ground, before being flooded by Ramsey’s teammates in an all out tussle.
A.J. Green was not the only man to show off his fight moves this weekend however. Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre finally made his big octagon return at Saturday’s UFC 217. In the night’s main event, St-Pierre choked out Michael “The Count” Bisping for the UFC middleweight title.
