Those holding out hope for a Nate Diaz return to the UFC will have to hold on for a bit little longer.
After a week of speculation and rumors that he was going to return at UFC 219 against Tyron Woodley, Nate Diaz has reportedly declined the UFC’s offer for the fight.
Nate Diaz has spent the majority of his career at lightweight, securing the TUF trophy and making a name for himself against the toughest fighters in the division.
Taking on the champion at welterweight, despite Nate’s on-again, off-again past in the division, was a pretty tall order.
Despite the bouts potential mismatch, MMA fans have all been holding out hope that the UFC and Nate could come to financial terms, and get him back in the cage.
That apparently has not happened.
