Yesterday, when a Diaz camp insider revealed that the Stockton born star had started a training camp for his UFC return, the world was struck with Diaz mania.
It’s been less than 24-hours and the world’s top reporters have been digging for answers, and may have even found them.
According to the latest in Nate Diaz rumors, the UFC lightweight mega-star is reportedly in negotiations to move up in weight once more to face off with UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
The UFC 219 event is set to go down on December 30 from Las Vegas. The night’s fight card still lacks a main event.
Top MMA reporter Ariel Helwani has added some credibility to these rumors in a recent twitter post.
Check it out:
@arielhelwani Have you heard anything about the Nate Diaz vs Tyron Woodley at UFC 219 rumor? Can you confirm its validity?

In response to the fan Helwani revealed:
This was the rabbit in the hat I eluded to yesterday on the show. No deal yet, I’m told. They are getting creative. Couple other ideas, too. Event is 6 weeks away and no main event.
