Sage Northcutt made a return to the lightweight division at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 120. For the fighter’s big return, Northcutt went toe-to-toe with Michel Quinones on the night’s main card.
The fighter put on a dominant performance over Quinones, ultimately earning a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. In Northcutt’s post-fight interview, the fighter revealed that he hopes to be in the octagon again real soon.
“I like to fight a lot, just like ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.” He said, “He’s an awesome fighter. He fights very frequently, so I like to fight a lot too. I’m looking forward to the next one, to put on a great show for all of y’all.”
Northcutt entered the octagon three times within the first four months of his career with the UFC, with a stunning first round TKO in his octagon debut.
