Aljamain Sterling Agrees With The Internet, Blasts Himself For Doing The Dab Knocked Out

UFC bantamweight Aljamain Sterling went toe-to-toe with Marlon Moraes for division dominance at UFC Fight Night 123 over the weekend. That being said, things did not go the fighter’s way. Now the internet is making a meme of the shocking moment, with Aljamain Sterling’s approval.

UFC Fight Night 123 took place Saturday night, Dec. 9, inside the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. Sterling and Moraes threw down for the Fresno crowd, but the fight did not go on for too long. Sterling suffered the first knockout loss of his career, as Moraes landed a stunning knee to the fighter’s head in the first round.

Sterling was carried out of the octagon on a stretcher and rushed to a nearby hospital. Sterling has since revealed that he is now healthy and doing well.

The internet has been taking creative freedom over Sterling’s knockout loss, claiming the fighter was unknowingly doing the dab while he was unconscious on the canvas. Taking to Twitter, Sterling has offered his thoughts on the matter.

“Lol I really did do the dab. Got damn internet is forever undefeated Sheeeeit this joke gonna be around for eternity…This is the fight game. I’m just glad I got thick skin and I can still do what I love!”
