Good news for Conor McGregor fans tired of his delayed UFC return The UFC lightweight champion just killed rumors of a return to boxing, stating he wants a real fight for his next combat outing. This all but confirms his next fight will be in defense of his UFC title.
McGregor has ben involved in controversy after controversy since his boxing debut loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
First the UFC star was seen partying in Ibiza getting a little too confrontational with fans inside a night club. Then he caused an international stir when he hopped the Bellator MMA cage, stopped a fight in progress, then slapped an official in the face.
Conor would go on to have a reported gang feud with Irish cartel members, to which he egged the organization to come and get him.
Lately though, McGregor returned to training at his home gym at SBG Ireland. And most recently has been in New York training with grappling sensation Dillon Danis.
Now, in a new interview McGregor stated, “We’ll see what happens. I think a true fight is what I want to do next. A real fight, what’s a real fight? MMA next.”
