Mayweather: ‘They Had To Go Get Conor From That Barbarian Sport To Try To Beat Me’

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has earned a spot among one of the greatest to ever compete inside the squared circle. Having achieved 15 world titles in five weight classes, Mayweather has put on a storied career with zero losses to his record. Now 50-0, the pugilist legend is retired from the sport. That being said, the former boxer still has a message for his fans concerning the last time he donned his gloves.

Mayweather momentarily came out of retirement after being away from the sport for two years to take on UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. on Aug. 26, 2017. Mayweather put his perfect record on the line and ultimately came out on top with a TKO victory over “Notorious” in the tenth round.

As seen in the video below, Mayweather recently referred to his bout with McGregor as a match against a fighter from a “barbarian sport.”

“I’m so tough at what I do, they had to go to an entire other barbarian sport to go get a motherf**ker to try and f**k with me.” Mayweather stated. “You already know what I did with that. Lights out, Party’s over.”
