Fight fans poured into the Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg, Canada on Saturday, Dec. 16, for the latest fight card from the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion hosted UFC on FOX 26 for the Winnipeg crowd, offering fight fans a night full of match ups worthy of excitement. Among them, UFC knockout artist Mike Perry put on a war for the Winnipeg crowd. While the fight did not go his way, the fighter certainly gave it his all. in a new video, Perry can be seen vomiting cage side from exhaustion after his epic octagon battle.
Mike Perry was riding a two fight winning streak coming into Winnipeg. The fighter had earned vicious knockout victories over Alex Reyes and Jake Ellenberger. However, at UFC on FOX 26, the fighter faced off against a fellow knockout artist that proved to be a tough opponent for Perry.
For the match up, Perry went toe-to-toe with Santiago Ponzinibbio. The two fighters brawled round after round, with the fight ultimately going the distance. This marked the second time in Perry’s career that the fighter had ever gone the distance. Ponzinibbio earned a unanimous decision victory over his opponent.
