The holidays can be a tough time. The stress and worries of the year all culminating into a few final months of heightened activities and family occasions. With that in mind, veteran mixed martial arts referee Marc Goddard has decided to come forward with a message for anyone having a tough time this holiday season.
Taking to Twitter, Goddard stated:
“No time is a good time to be alone, but approaching Christmas season is particularly poignant.
“If you or anyone you know feels isolated, don’t go it alone. Please speak out. I can’t promise to solve all of your problems but I can listen.
“It’s ok to not be ok. My DM’s are open.”

Marc Goddard was most recently in the headlines for entering an altercation with UFC superstar Conor McGregor at a Bellator MMA event. “Notorious” stormed the cage at Bellator 187, when Goddard had not yet called a stop to the contest going on within, and the two entered a heated exchange.
Goddard has since offered a statement on the recent incident, explaining that the fight had yet to be stopped.
