The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted tryouts for the 27th season of The Ultimate Fighter this week, Dec. 13, at the Palace Station Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.. Titled The Ultimate Fighter: Battle of the Undefeated, the season will only feature male MMA prospects in the featherweight, lightweight and welterweight divisions that have not yet suffered a loss in their careers. Now a rumor is spreading that the coaches for the season may have been chosen.
UFC welterweight Colby Covington has made some enemies among his fellow octagon competitors as of late. American Top Team
teammate and reigning welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is seemingly among them. Now it would appear that a new rumor is circulating that the two welterweights may be locked in for the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.
While it is only rumor, the word is spreading that Covington and Woodley will coach the 27th edition of the reality show and then face off for a title fight match after the season is completed. More information on the possible match up and new TUF coaches will be made available as this situation evolves.
