Rose Namajunas
UFC strawweight champion “Thug” Rose Namajunas previously fought for the UFC belt and lost, before shocking the world with a first round knock out of Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Now, in a new video, Namajunas gets a good laugh out of herself, for her prior skills, and prior training.
Mixed martial arts is a sport of evolution, and it’s typically either fighter’s evolve or get left behind.
Rose is the perfect example of this, and we got to see her first glimpses of brilliance when she made it to the final of The Ultimate Fighter.
She would win some, lose some early in her UFC career. But, eventually we saw greatness when she took out Michelle Waterson. However, we witnessed greatness again when she defeated Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217 to capture the belt.
Rose is still young, and still learning, and now she can laugh at prior self, looking back.
