Keaton Jones took the internet by storm when a video of the young boy emotionally revealing his problems with bullies at school surfaced to the public. However, controversial details concerning the boy’s family have since surfaced with it. Now UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Jones’ mother filmed the child crying into the camera, as Jones revealed that he was afraid to go to lunch at school because he was being bullied by his classmates. The child previously had milk poured on him and food stuffed into his clothes. Celebrities from all walks of life, including multiple UFC fighters and the UFC president himself, began reaching out to the family in hopes of coming together to support Keaton Jones.
However, controversy struck when it was revealed that a GoFundMe was allegedly being used by the boy’s mother to profit from her son’s new found internet fame. The boy’s father has since been revealed to be a formerly incarcerated white supremacist.
Speaking on TMZ Sport’s The Hollywood Beatdown, Tyron Woodley has since come forward with his thoughts on the matter. The UFC title holder explained that he believes the father should “get the hell slapped outta him.” Woodley then explained that he still supports Keaton Jones, but does not condone his parents’ behavior.
