Fight fans are taking to the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan today, Dec. 2, for the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s latest big event. The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is hosting UFC 218 tonight for the Detroit crowd. In the main event, UFC featherweight Max Holloway and former champion Jose Aldo will be going toe-to-toe for division supremacy. Here is a look at the UFC results for the night’s big event.
In the second fight on the night’s card, light heavyweights Jeremy Kimball and Dominick Reyes are facing off inside the octagon.
Kimball kicked off the fight at a vicious pace. Firing off a lengthy combination on Reyes, Kimball quickly pressured his opponent to the fence. Reyes was able to reverse the position from the cage and then took down his opponent to the canvas.
From side control, Reyes managed to dish out some ground and pound before Kimball pulled the fighter into his full guard. Kimball tried to improve his position, but ended up giving his back to Reyes. From the position, Reyes began landing some really hard shots but the fighter then managed to bring an end to the contest with a beautiful rear-naked choke submission.
