The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Detroit, Michigan tonight for UFC 218. Fight fans are flocking to Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena to watch UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway go toe-to-toe with Jose Aldo in a highly anticipated title fight rematch. With the night of fights now taking place, it’s time to take a look at the UFC results for the night.
That being said, before the two featherweights can throw down, the UFC has an entire night of fights set to go down. First on the night’s card is a heavyweight war between Justin Willis and Allen Crowder.
Willis started to find his range early in the first round. The fighter clipped Crowder with a right hand, later sticking him with a strong kick to the body.
Crowder attacked Willis with a left hand, pressuring the fighter against the fence. Crowder began to push the pace, but Willis retaliated with some powerful leg kicks.
Willis then connected with a stunning left hand that sent the fighter to the ground. The referee quickly stepped in and called a stop to the contest.
