UFC Fight Night 123 is taking place inside the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. tonight, Dec. 9. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to feature a featherweight main event between Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega. Yet, the night’s fight card is also set to feature a fight card filled with exciting match ups. With the second main card bout going down now, it’s time to check out the UFC results for UFC Fight Night 123.
In the second fight on tonight’s main card, middleweights Eryk Anders and Markus Perez are throwing down for the Fresno crowd.
Anders opened the first round by pressuring his opponent into the fence. From the clinch, the fighter managed to dish out some damage but Perez reversed the position and took his opponent to the ground.
Halfway through the round, Anders made his way back to his feet and to the center of the octagon. Anders began to walk his opponent down, but Perez seemed largely unfazed from the fighter’s bombs. Anders ended up chasing his opponenet down in the final moments of the round, but was suddenly taken down by Perez before the sound of the bell.
Anders opened up the second round chasing down his opponent yet again. The fighter would go on to drop Perez with a right hand, but Perez quickly shot back to his feet. Halfway through the round Anders had Perez against the fence, as the fighter continued to pressure his opponent.
Anders went on to take Perez down and drill the fighter with some serious bombs from side control. However, Perez managed to get back to his feet in the final moments of the round. It seemed to be a dominant round for Anders.
The final round opened up in Anders favor, as the fighter earned another takedown over Perez. Anders found himself in half-guard once again, offering some ground and pound to Perez with two minutes left on the clock.
Anders put on a dominant performance over his opponent in the final moments of the fight, as the fighter continued to pummel over Perez.

Following the bout, Anders took to the post-fight interview and called out former UFC champion Lyoto Machida.
