Last night at UFC Fight Night 123 from Fresno, two top UFC bantamweights took center stage in main card action, but only one left the cage on his own free will. That’s because former WSOF wrecking machine Marlon Moraes put on a late 2017 contender for knock out of the year with a brutal knee to the dome of Aljamain Sterling. The knockout left Sterling unconscious on the octagon floor and resulted in him leaving on a stretcher.
It was a brutal knockout for the UFC’s next bantamweight contender in the making. However, it’s also one that left Sterling on the wrong end of a nasty highlight reel for the first time in his career.
Now, following the bout, UFC fighters have taken to Twitter to react to the devastating knockout.
