Saturday night, Dec. 16, offered an exhilarating event of fights. The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) hosted UFC on FOX 26 inside the Bell MTS Place for the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion’s second appearance in Winnipeg, Canada. The fight card offered fans a night full of big match ups. One of which, UFC knockout artist “Platinum” Mike Perry went toe-to-toe with Santiago Ponzinibbio on the night’s main card in a brutal all-out war. Now fighters have decided to come forward with their thoughts on the match up.
Mike Perry was riding a two fight winning streak inside the octagon, after knocking out Alex Reyes and Jake Ellenberger, before stepping into the Winnipeg arena on Saturday. Beyond that, the fighter had only gone the distance once in his career. That being said, things changed for the fighter come UFC on FOX 26.
Perry and Ponzinibbio battled it out for three straight rounds, offering neither fighter no quarter during the unrelenting brawl. However, in the end, “Platinum” Mike Perry suffered the second loss of his mixed martial arts career.
Now UFC fighters have decided to come forward with their thoughts on Perry’s recent unanimous decision loss. Check it out in the social media posts below:
