Unaired Footage Shows Moraes Crying, Because He Hurt Sterling so Bad in Fresno

UFC Fight Night 123 went down on Saturday night, Dec. 9, for fight fans inside the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. The fight card offered a collection of epic match ups. However, there was one fight that would go on to become an emotional experience for one of the night’s competitors.

UFC bantamweight Marlon Moraes went toe-to-toe with Aljamain Sterling during the night’s event. Sterling suffered his first knockout loss by way of a brutal knee to the head that left the fighter unconscious on the mat. Sterling was later carried of the octagon on a stretcher and rushed to the hospital. While Moraes delivered a knockout of the year contender, the fighter was terribly shaken up after the experience.

In the video above, Moraes can be seen crying over his unconscious opponent during a commercial break from the event. The fighter was consoled by his team and nearby officials, could be clearly seen having a tough time with Sterling’s condition.
