UFC featherweight Andre Fili has perhaps one of the greatest monikers in all of mixed martial arts. “Touchy” Fili has gone on to take out some of the toughest and most talented fighters under the UFC while sporting his nickname.
Most recently, Fili earned a decision victory over Dennis Bermudez at UFC on FOX 27. The two fighters went toe-to-toe for the night’s co-main event, with Fili walking away with a split decision win.
Now an old social media message has surfaced, revealing the origin of Fili’s nickname. UFC correspondent Megan Olivi took to Twitter back in 2012 to offer a suggestion for Fili’s nickname.
“Hey @DreFury145 – I don’t know if you have a nickname or not, but I propose “touchy” … Andre “Touchy” Fili!!!”

Megan Olivi would go on to marry UFC warrior Joseph Benavidez. Benavidez and Andre Fili are teammates at the highly acclaimed Sacramento gym Team Alpha Male.
