It would appear that Chris Weidman has a few words concerning the UFC’s most recent fighter summit.
The most recent UFC athlete retreat did not go without its drama. The retreat nearly made it through the end, but things quickly fell into controversy after a physical altercation took place.
UFC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino had a confrontation with now former UFC strawweight Angela Magana. After being struck by “Cyborg,” the UFC called for police. Following the event, Magana decided to press charges.
Then, it was reported that former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman was confronted by “Cyborg.” However, it is unclear what happened between the two fighters.
Now, Weidman has since come forward with his reaction to the event via Twitter. “Haha she pointed at me and I tucked my tail and ran,” the former champion stated.
