While Anthony Pettis is a former UFC lightweight champion, it would appear that the world class fighter has now achieved another touching moment of his life. Grant it, this one happened outside of the octagon.
A brief message was recently offered by the former UFC title holder over social media. Within the message, Pettis revealed that he is now engaged to his longtime girlfriend.
For the past few years the couple has been sharing fun and loving moments, often taking fight fans along with them as they travel the world to exotic destinations.
In the Instagram post below, Pettis stated “She said yes!!! #happyman #2018ready #luckyman #aruba”
Pettis and his fiance can be seen in the video below, celebrating their newly formed engagement.
Fight fans were most recently treated to a bloody octagon war by the former champion. Pettis faced off against Dustin Poirier at UFC Fight Night 120 in a highly entertaining back and forth battle that ultimately ended in Poirier’s favor. Pettis was submitted by Poirier in the third round. Anthony Pettis is now 20-7 in his mixed martial arts career.
