Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum has decided to pick a side.
UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has yet to be defeated inside the octagon, with the dominant fighter having most recently earned a victory over former bantamweight champion Holly Holm. UFC President Dana White has since revealed an interest in seeing reigning UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes face off against Cyborg.
Some rumors claim the fight would go down in Brazil, as both fighters are Brazilian natives. With that in mind, Cyborg has since come forward to turn down the fight offer out of an interest in seeing the UFC sign more dedicated featherweight fighters to the promotion’s roster.
In a recent media scrum, as seen in the video below, former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum decided to offer his thoughts on how he believes a super fight between the two champions in Brazil would go down.
“In my opinion, I think Cris Cyborg would kill her.” Werdum said. “For me, she is the best.”
