UFC featherweight and Team Alpha Male warrior Andre Fili faced off against Dennis Bermudez in the co-main event of Saturday night’s, Jan. 27, UFC on FOX 27. While the fighter earned a split decision victory over his opponent, the UFC on FOX team did not all meet eye-to-eye on the decision.
UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley offered his thoughts on the night’s co-headliner during the broadcast, stating that he did not agree with the judges’ decision. Now Fili has come forward to offer his thoughts on the matter.
Woodley first took to Twitter to explain the situation.
“The homie @TouchyFili was offended I didnt agree w the decision. It was a close fight & split decision. Meaning one judge scored 4 DM. W/ that said I was impressed w/ the Takedowns that were converted from leg kick. Also the motion & Long weapon usage. Enjoy the W! I picked u FYI”
