“Muhammad Ali shook up the world. And the world is better for it. We are all better for it.”
– Barack Obama
Today marks what would have been the 76th birthday of the best fighter to ever live, Muhammad Ali. And while we bathe in combat sporting glory day in and day out, it’s important to pay tribute to the legend who paved the way for all our greats today.
The first to use brash trash talk in promotion of fights, by all accounts Ali was the first Conor McGregor. He was able to back up his relentless words in the ring time and time again, and he broke down barriers that still resonate today.
While we remember his contribution, and honor his life today, have a look at the man himself dodging more than 2000 punches in under two minutes.
