It would appear that UFC’s Aljamain Sterling has some heated words of his own for former UFC bantamweight champion Holly Holm’s training camp.
Team Greg Jackson has been receiving some heat as of late for a comment made by the training camp’s official photographer. Taking to social media, the photographer referred to UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg as a man. Cyborg most recently earned a unanimous decision victory over Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 219.
Here is what the photographer had to say:
“This dude is tough as hell! That being said at the press conference he said Holly was the first one to make his nose bleed! You are my hero [Holly Holm] see you back in the gym”
Cris Cyborg has since come forward with a heated message concerning the statement.
“It is not acceptable for an official representative of @hollyholm @jacksonwink_mma to call me transgender following my Fight. Their official photographer was given a backstage credential to attend the @UFC and I expect an apology or their ability to get credentials for future UFC events to be affected by these actions. @ma2_media”
Now MMA Fighting’s Marc Raimondi has come forward to reveal that this is not the first controversial statement made by the training camp over social media.
Taking to Twitter, Raimondi stated:
“This is disgraceful and comes not long after the gym’s Twitter account liked a tweet calling Aljamain Sterling the n-word. Sounds like some house cleaning needs to be done in ABQ.”
UFC’s Aljamain Sterling has since come forward with his own reaction to the situation.
“Seriously You cant make that kinda sh*t up!”
Seriously ??♂️ You cant make that kinda shit up!

The fighter later took to the social media platform once again to state:
“I agree. It starts at the top. Never could that kinda sh*t fly over here at either Matt Serra’s gym or Ray Longo/Weidman’s gym.”
